Statement:

I'm mostly inspired by trying to find the edge between the realistic and surreal in my paintings.  Similar to when you are falling asleep and your imagination starts.  Until 2015 I painted primarily figuratively, but since 2016 I have been more focused on my abstract work.  I am particularly inspired by artists such as Peter Doig, Wayne Thiebaud, Max Beckmann, Egon Shiele and Gerhard Richter.  Private showings and prices for individual paintings are available upon request.  Some of my paintings are also listed for sale on www.saatchiart.com.
